You may be curious to know a little more about me. Most importantly I am a wife and a mom. I live just outside of Cleveland, Ohio with my husband, 11-year old son and my 5 pound chihuahua. I am also a global talent development manager with a Fortune 500 company. I have been guiding professional women (and men) through work and life transitions for over 15 years. My passion for coaching managers and employees to reach their personal and professional goals led me to start blogging as the Maternity Leave Coach. I love helping people build confidence and equipping them with tools to achieve their personal and professional aspirations. With a good listening ear and tons of humor to keep it all in perspective, I find myself quickly becoming a friend to those who are searching for better ways to manage it all.
My maternity leave experience was wonderful and I had a lot of fun during the journey (when I wasn’t crying!). You are probably experiencing some maternity leave highs and lows so I hope you enjoy yourself here and find some tips to help you along.
Please leave comments and share your experiences – the good, bad and the ugly. Let your friends, family and co-workers know that we’re here too so we can all learn how to do this mommy/work thing better.
